All American x Reverenza 14' Colt

This colt is a very athletic looking horse with a great action, strong bone & great muscle tone. He’s taking everything in his stride & we couldn’t be happier with the positive signs he’s giving us.

All American

• All American's natural speed and athleticism were on show very early: he won his first two starts as a December 2YO, including a Listed Race in Melbourne. At only his third start he stepped up to Group 1 level in Melbourne's premier race for juveniles, the MRC Blue Diamond S. G1, going down by a long neck to his stablemate Reaan. His 2YO career concluded with victory in the AJC Skyline S. G3 and a courageous fifth in the Golden Slipper G1.

• All American subsequently provided one of the highlights of the 2009 Melbourne Cup Carnival when he scored a devastating victory in the VRC Emirates S. 1600m G1, defeating the international champion So You Think by 2.5 lengths. Another six Group 1 winners followed them home. All American’s winning time for the race of 1.33.98 is the fastest ever posted by an entire over the Flemington mile.

• All American is a proven outcross for mares from the Danehill sireline (as his sire Red Ransom is), and to date his results have not cast any shadow on that theory.

• The broader Red Ransom-Danehill cross has produced eight Group 1 winners such as Champion 2YO Headway, Red Dazzler (Toorak H.) and Habibi (NZ Derby).
• All American’s Group winning juvenile Bachman is out of a daughter by the Danehill stallion, Nothin’ Leica Dane.
• This colt looks to continue this trend as his sire, All American, is by Red Ransom & his dam, Reverenza, is by Commands, a son of Danehill.
His dam, Reverenza, has had 3 foals to race which have all been colts/geldings & have all been winners.

Pedigree Updates

• All American was headlined this year by Group 1 winner Yankee Rose who was also 2nd to Capitalist in the Longines Golden Slipper at Rosehill.

• Half Brother, Herne’s Oak (g. by High Chaparral), has won 5 times & has earned in excess of $220,000.

• Half Brother, Urban Knight (g. by Lohnro), has now won 6 times & has been placed 7 times for trainer Daryl Hansen. He has won just short of $125,000.
• Another Half Brother, Lion of Africa (g. by Lohnro), has now won 3 times for trainer Steven Cummins.
• Half Sister, Ima Allstar (3yo f. by I am Invincible), is in training with Graeme Rogerson and is said to be making a lot of progress now that she is a 3yo. She has only ran once in a maiden over 1200m finishing fourth after drawing the outside gate at Matamata, NZ.
