Duchess Of Windsor (Rip Van Winkle x Her Royal Highness 15' Filly)

Leasing is an exciting way to taste the thrill of racehorse ownership. Unlike syndication, leasing involves a small lease fee & the lessee then contributes to the upkeep of the horse such as training fees, pretraining fees & agistment fees whilst also being entitled to receiving prizemoney for races won.

"A beautiful filly with a great attitude! She has had a couple of preparations in New Zealand and has just come into our stable at Warwick Farm! We are very excited to be given the opportunity by Windsor Park Stud to train this cracking filly with an impeccable pedigree. She is a very efficient mover with a lovely action & almost looks like she is floating when she is walking - VERY LIGHT ON HER FEET - which generally translates to galloping well. She also has a lovely feminine head with an intelligent eye who is very switched on to what she does on the track. She has the scope and size to continue to grow, continuing to improve physically as a 3YO and on to an older horse. She has very good length of body & a magnificent overstep which equates to a good length of stride. Extremely good depth of girth, this is important to house good sized lungs. The larger the lungs, the greater the oxygen intake enabling peak performance under racing conditions. I am absolutely delighted to be given this filly to train by Windsor Park Stud and I look forward to sharing her racing career with everyone. We have had some great success with these lease fillies over the years including Faraway Town who has won almost $850,000 in prizemoney. If anyone feels like they are ready to experience the thrill of racehorse ownership then leasing is the way to go!"
